Fiend Saws are a dual-wield main weapon in Phantom Blade Zero. Their attacks build Fiend-Aura Erosion, which erupts after its gauge fills. Charging different combo attacks changes the effect of that eruption.

How to get Fiend Saws
Defeat Iron Fiend and Jade Dancer in Village of Lu. The encounter follows Mu Xiaokui's first two phases when the Young Mistress questline has been completed. Its rewards include Fiend Saws, Fist Fragment: Core and Puppet No. 44's Eye.
Erosion and attack variants

Fiend-Aura Erosion | Hits build an erosion effect lasting 20 seconds. Filling its gauge causes an eruption that drains the enemy's HP. |
Charged Onslaught | Hold Circle during a combo to charge crossing slashes. These convert the erosion into Azure Erosion, which depletes more Sha-Chi when it erupts. |
Charged Frenzy | Hold Triangle during a combo to charge spinning slashes. These convert the effect into Crimson Erosion, increasing eruption damage. |
Corrosion Burst | Increases the damage of Fiend-Aura Erosion and its altered eruptions. |
Corrosive Severance | Press Circle to erupt the effects on affected enemies early. An eruption that Guard Breaks its target extends that target's Guard-Broken period. |
Fiend Form
Spend 1 Sha-Chi Essence to enter Fiend Form for 10 seconds. Its attacks are unblockable and gain damage against Guard-Broken enemies. Press L2 again during the form to perform a powerful follow-up without spending more Essence, then leave the form.
Upgrades and Soul Tempering
Regular upgrades use Weapon Upgrade Materials and can be reset through Reforging. The Soul Tempering effect, Endless Fiend Form, makes attacks against an enemy unblockable for 3 seconds after Fiend-Aura Erosion erupts on that enemy. Soul Tempering is irreversible.
