The Fanatic's Broken Blade is a one-handed main weapon in Phantom Blade Zero. Drinking changes Soul's combat state from Sober to Tipsy and then Drunk, altering his Flying Sword attacks and defensive options.

How to get The Fanatic's Broken Blade
Defeat Hua Qianxiao in Crimson Forest during Snake's Reflection to obtain the weapon.
Drinking and combat states
Bottomless Drink uses L1 + Triangle to restore Sha-Chi and enter Tipsy. Hold the input to restore more Sha-Chi. Tipsy changes attacks into Flying Sword attacks, whose damage falls over distance, and normally ends after 15 seconds.

While Drunk, Soul has greatly restricted mobility and cannot use ordinary L1 blocking. He automatically dodges incoming attacks, and Flying Sword damage rises substantially. Drunken Counter is a separate timed L1 response to a blockable attack: Soul evades, drinks and counterattacks.
