Story Items are key items tied to quests and progression in Phantom Blade Zero. Keys and cranks open paths, while other objects are used in quest events. The category is described as non-tradeable; its items are not ordinary Treasure trade goods.

Flesh Lily, Crimson Flesh Lily and Crimson Fresh Lily are separate names in the listing. Their similar spelling does not establish that they are interchangeable. Broken Illusory Pipa and Illusory Pipa Head are also separate listed entries.
The Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank is obtained from a Shadow Warden on the descent from the Sha-Chi Tower. It opens the furnace route for the Primal Stone. Finding the crank and collecting the stone are separate steps.
The Cell Key opens the Outpost cell containing a Blackstone Fragment. Blackstone Fragments explains that pickup; the key is an access item, not an ingredient used to form a Blackstone.
Crimson Forest has several differently named keys and cranks. Match the item name to the door or mechanism rather than assuming the Cellar Crank, Secret Chamber Crank and Dungeon Key are the same object.
