The main road and Hua Qianxiao
After the scene with Inanis, activate the Crimson Forest Bell. Follow the main road through the river and barricade route, checking the side paths for books and Memory Flowers. From the Abandoned Main Road Bell, the lower route and wall climb lead to a chest with the Shieldbreaker Talisman.
Continue to Pangzhen Bridge Overlook and confront Hua Qianxiao beyond the arch. Defeating him awards The Fanatic's Broken Blade. The broken bridge afterward forces Soul onto a lower route, where the Hunter's Chain Sickle is needed to continue.
Rescue Quick Hand Zhang
Beyond the bridge, collect the Simmering Brew by the corpse and proceed to Trail of Cages. Follow the cage rescue route through the cave and around to the crank that frees Quick Hand Zhang. His rescue starts The Wily Hare's Three Dens.
Continue past the cave and houses to Outlaw Trap. The enemy carrying Blood Letter from the Nimble Thief begins Honor Among Thieves. The nearby cave contains Preservation Talisman Fragment I and the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank.
Underground routes and Jing Ye
Use the Tunnel Crank on the door near Outlaw Trap to explore below. The branches include a Sha-Chi Amber Fragment, Kuye Dew, Preservation Talisman Fragment II and the Sect Leader's Snuff Bottle. Back at the Bell, the ledge and wall-climbing route leads to Jing Ye, whose defeat awards the Outlaw Warblade.
The Thieves' Camp and cellar
Cross the long bridge after Jing Ye and speak to the NPCs to start Secrets of the Baishan Sect. At the Thieves' Camp, meet the Gentle Thief to continue Honor Among Thieves. Quick Hand Zhang is behind the closed door reached by the right-hand wall route; exhaust his dialogue for his requests and den quest.
The route onward contains the Forest Outpost Courtyard Key, which opens the gate to Red Serpent House. Continue through Cliff of Longing to Cliffside Lodge. Retrieve the Crimson Forest Cellar Crank from the poisoned room above and use it to enter the cellar.
Inside, the wall-crossing route leads to the Secret Chamber Crank. Use it to reach the wounded disciple for Secrets of the Baishan Sect. The central platform beyond contains the Thieves' Camp Dungeon Key. The cellar exit also connects to an injured person involved in A Healer's Mercy.
Stone Hand Iron Fever and Inanis
Continue past the chase sequence to Mirrorwood Entrance and descend to Stone Hand Iron Fever. Defeating this boss awards the Iron Gauntlets. Beyond the arena, collecting the Memory Flowers begins Resonant Strings.
From the Mirrorwood Long Pillar route, use the Chain Sickle through the trees to Burial Grounds. Follow the marked white objects through the mist to the lamp and the Illusion of Inanis scene. Choose Train Abilities in that conversation to begin Heart of the Banyan.
Resonant Strings and the mist routes
After the scene, descend to Parting Mists and continue through the traversal route toward Mirrorwood Depths. The flowers along this stretch belong to Resonant Strings. Collecting its full documented set produces an additional interaction during Bai Chilian's fight.

Bai Chilian and the Village of Lu
Following the weeping through the mist opens the path to the Threadbound Great Tree and Bai Chilian. Defeat her for White Serpent and Crimson Viper and the Resonance Talisman. The following scene carries Soul to the beginning of the Village of Lu and closes the chapter.
The side routes above cross several Tale and collectible quests. Their availability and reward details belong to the individual quests; reaching the chapter exit does not itself complete every quest in Crimson Forest.
