Sha-Chi Amber Fragments form complete Sha-Chi Ambers in Phantom Blade Zero. Collecting a whole Amber or completing one from fragments permanently increases maximum Sha-Chi. Sha-Chi is the combat gauge used for actions such as blocking; losing it completely leaves Soul vulnerable to a stagger.
Known Weeping Creek Valley pickups
Area | Acquisition |
|---|---|
South of Broken Puppet Valley Bell | Open the chest in the ravine. |
Past Rustblade Pavilion Bell | Follow the cliffside to the unusual crates. One of the ambushing enemies drops an Amber Fragment. |
Past Outpost Bell | Defeat the enemies in the secured area. The fragment is recorded as an enemy drop; the collectible listing describes the enemy in a house. |
These are three documented Weeping Creek Valley entries. They do not establish the total number of Amber Fragments in the region or the rest of Wulin.
Character skills and Amber costs
Skill | Recorded cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Endless Renewal Lv. 2 | 1 Sha-Chi Amber | Executions have a chance to restore a Remnant Spark. |
Still Depths Lv. 1 | 1 Sha-Chi Amber | Adds 1 to maximum Remnant Sparks. |
Boundless Capacity Lv. 2 | 2 Sha-Chi Ambers | Adds 1 accessory slot. |
Still Depths Lv. 2 | 4 Sha-Chi Ambers | Adds 1 to maximum Remnant Sparks. |
The Skills guide also places Steady Composure and Flowing Chi in the Sha-Chi Amber branch. Steady Composure costs 5,000 Remnant Dust, while Flowing Chi lists no resource cost. Being in this branch does not make every skill an Amber purchase.
Maximum Sha-Chi and Remnant Sparks are different resources. An Amber raises maximum Sha-Chi, while specific Still Depths skills raise the separate Phantom Edge resource capacity.
