Quick Hand Zhang is a merchant and quest giver in Phantom Blade Zero. Rescue him from the wooden cage near Trail of Cages in Crimson Forest to begin his hideout-related questline.
Rescue and first hideout
From Trail of Cages, follow the cave route around to the crank controlling his cage. After freeing him, continue to the Thieves' Camp. Reach his room by the wall-climbing route and open the closed door. Talk through his dialogue options to access his requests and shop.
Documented hideouts
Region | Location |
|---|---|
Crimson Forest | Thieves' Camp, after the cage rescue |
Village of Lu | Cavern reached from Zhang's Hideout Bell near the central part of the region |
Pangzhen | Abandoned house toward the western mountains; descend through its floor opening |
These locations belong to The Wily Hare's Three Dens. They are the documented stops in this guide, rather than a promise that every later hideout has been located.
Quick Hand's Request
Speak to Zhang in a hideout to receive a request for treasures from the surrounding region. Return after finding the requested set to collect the associated reward. The Crimson Forest request is connected to the Flying Dagger; accessory reward names in later regional requests remain inconsistent across the available quest records.
Quick Hand Pendant is also obtained from Zhang and increases One-Handed weapon damage by 10%. Its acquisition should be kept separate from the later regional treasure handovers.
