Follow their questlines
A character can offer multiple requests and move after story progress. Scroll icons identify NPC commissions, and quest pins can be shown during exploration. Revisit conversations after a hand-in to check for another topic or objective.
Reward and availability limits
The healer questline is associated with Medicine Case and Calming Gourd, but its individual reward summaries conflict. Check the specific completion prompt. The Old Archer is described as missable; a precise disappearance trigger is not established here.
