Four Fierce Axes is a Tale in Phantom Blade Zero that follows case files from Weeping Creek Valley to Pangzhen. It overlaps Festering Secret and requires returning to the first region after reaching Village of Lu.

Return to the valley
After defeating Peng Meng, speak to the Petrified Mandate Disciple inside the Outpost house beside the Old Beggar and Brooding Old Archer. Later, activate the first Bell in Village of Lu and return to the Weeping Creek Valley Outpost. The formerly blocked bridge route leads toward the final case file.
Deliver the relic in Pangzhen
At Pavilion of Knowledge Crossroads, enter the nearby tower and defeat its enemies. The final enemy drops the Pavilion of Knowledge Rooftop Key. Unlock the upper door, speak to the Child of Insight and hand over the Axemaster Relic after collecting the seven files.
The reward is the Blood Oath Dagger, a tempering material used for the Dread Axe.
