Kenichiro Thomson is the English voice actor for the protagonist Musashi Miyamoto in Onimusha: Way of the Sword, confirmed through Capcom's official Onimusha channels in February 2025.

Toshiro Mifune (1920-1997) was a legendary Japanese actor whose likeness Capcom licensed from Mifune Productions for Musashi's in-game face model in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The two-year negotiation concluded in 2022.

Akihito Kadowaki is the producer of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. A Capcom veteran whose prior credits include Marvel vs Capcom 3, Sengoku BASARA 4, and the Monster Hunter Rise series, he has framed the new game around compelling characters, an Edo-era Kyoto setting, and ultimate sword-fighting action.

Satoru Nihei is the director of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. He pushed for a new Onimusha for years inside Capcom before the project was finally greenlit in 2020 and has publicly framed the game as neither a Soulslike nor an open-world.
