Overview
Lost Pieces are the duplicate-conversion currency earned from standard banner pulls in Neverness to Everness. They accumulate automatically when a player pulls a duplicate Esper (character) or Arc piece on the Standard Banner. Lost Pieces are spent at the Lost Piece Shop, the standard-banner equivalent of the Fair Shop that handles limited-banner duplicates.
Where Warp Pieces (the limited banner equivalent) often go toward extra Solid Dice and limited-banner upgrades, Lost Pieces are oriented toward standard pool items, ascension materials, and recurring monthly pull allowances. The two shops together ensure that every duplicate pull contributes to long-term account progression.
How to Earn Lost Pieces
Duplicate S-Class standard characters from the Standard Banner pool. Once a standard pool character reaches their full Awakening cap, additional duplicates convert to Lost Pieces.
Duplicate Arcs on the Standard Banner. Standard-pool Arcs that reach refinement cap convert duplicates to Lost Pieces.
Lost Chess Box tiles on the Standard Banner board. Landing on a Lost Chess Box pays a stated number of Lost Pieces directly.
How to Spend Lost Pieces
The Lost Piece Shop stocks items oriented toward standard-pool progression and recurring upgrade tracks:
Category | Examples | Use |
|---|---|---|
Standard pool items | Standard banner Mind Shards, character keepsakes | Push standard-pool characters past their pull-acquired Awakening cap |
Ascension materials | Generic ascension shards, upgrade modules | Level up character ascension tiers |
Monthly pull allowance | Periodic Fabricated Dice bundles | Recurring Standard Banner pull stipend; refreshes on a monthly cadence |
Lost Pieces vs. Warp Pieces
Lost Pieces (standard banner) and Warp Pieces (limited banner) are parallel currencies. Each is tied to its own banner pool and shop, and the two cannot be exchanged for each other. The two systems together cover every banner type so that duplicate pulls always feed into progression.
Tips
Use the recurring monthly pull allowance every month. The Standard Banner Fabricated Dice stipend is one of the steadiest pull-currency sources outside of premium spending.
Spend Lost Pieces on Mind Shards for the standard-pool character you have invested in most. Each character has its own Mind Shard, and the shop stocks all six standard pool characters' shards.
Standard-pool ascension materials in the Lost Piece Shop are useful even if you have not pulled standard pool characters. They are generic enough to feed limited character ascension as well.
Lost Pieces and Warp Pieces are parallel currencies but track separately. Hitting the duplicate cap on a limited banner does not pay Lost Pieces, and vice versa.
