Lacrimosa learns enemy techniques through Devilish Inspiration. Land its aimed shot on a valid enemy; defeating that enemy is unnecessary. A crossed-out targeting reticle means the target cannot provide a technique. Morphix is one such invalid target.
Selecting and using a technique
Learned techniques are stored in Lacrimosa's Esper Abilities menu. Choose a stored technique and use Learn Skill to equip it. Forget Skill restores Morning Tomato. Make these changes outside combat. The borrowed move's cooldown and commitment depend on the selected technique.
Devilish Gift recreates the technique through Lacrimosa's constructs. She cannot move during the cast and can still take damage, so leave space for enemy attacks before starting a long animation. Cancel or swap when necessary.
Practical choices
Technique | Useful situation | Tradeoff |
|---|---|---|
Focused damage through tracking missiles | Longer cast commitment | |
Clearing a clustered group with wide sweeps | Leave time to cancel or evade | |
Area damage in a shorter animation | Choose it when a quicker rotation matters |
