The 999 Nights party has its own levels. Story Mode stops at level 40; after completing the story, Challenge Mode permits further growth toward the mode maximum of level 100. The four party members use their Warren equipment for these fights.
Repeat a nearby enemy camp
Light the bonfire closest to a dense enemy camp. Clear the enemies, return to rest, then select Refresh Monsters to begin another run. The refresh control has a one-minute cooldown. A short route keeps the return trip manageable and lets the party collect equipment while gaining EXP.
Area | Farm route | Approximate target |
|---|---|---|
Chocolate Volcano | Bonfire west of Lost Ruins; clear the camp containing Blazehorn Tiger | Level 55 |
Milk Ice Mountain | Bonfire in the ruins south of Frostwind Plateau; clear the nearby camp | Level 65 |
Amber Syrup Lake | Bonfire between Stillhaven Tableland and Broken Stonewood; clear the surrounding camps | Level 80 |
These are preparation targets rather than entry requirements. Move on when the party can defeat the next area reliably. If enemies are taking too long, compare equipment effects across the party and return to a camp that is quicker to clear.
Prepare equipment as the party grows
The White Lightflame setup combines effects across the party to damage groups. Zero uses Morningstar Longsword and Whiteflame Ballad; Mint uses Sunsinge Twinblades and Sunseeker Light; Iroi uses Flamecrown Codex and Shared Emberdream; Shinku uses Jade Star to support allied CRIT DMG. Inspect each item's actual main stat and class restriction rather than assuming every weapon supplies ATK.
999 Nights Class Builds gives the effect combinations and party order. Use the equipment you have while collecting the remaining pieces.
Advance the dungeon difficulty
Finish the four Story dungeons and reach level 40 before progressing to Challenge. Clearing the four dungeons of that mode opens the route to Nightmare. Read the mode-change confirmation and prepare for dungeon and bonfire progress to reset. Higher difficulties add stronger enemies, equipment and additional routes; the starting Milk Ice Mountain crystal still uses its separate bypass.
