Replaced the 2026 window with the confirmed 29 October 2026 launch date, added storefront listing details, Garena regions, milestone status and new timeline entries
Monster Hunter Outlanders launches on 29 October 2026 on iOS and Android. The date was announced on 29 September 2026 on the official global site and in a video message from producer Dong Huang, released alongside a separate message from Capcom's Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. Until then the official channel had given only a 2026 window, most recently at the close of its August 2026 monster reveal. A version for mainland China is scheduled separately, for release from 2027 onwards.
Storefront dates were earlier described by the developer as placeholders rather than commitments. Since the announcement, both the global and the Garena iOS listings show 29 October 2026 as the expected date.
The game is confirmed for iOS and Android only. No console, PC or cloud version has been announced. Both platforms have carried the same closed beta builds, and both have open pre-registration.
Platform | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
iOS | Launching 29 October 2026, pre-registration open | All three closed beta tests were playable on iOS |
Android | Launching 29 October 2026, pre-registration open | All three closed beta tests were playable on Android |
PC | Not announced | No first-party statement exists |

Publishing is split by region, which matters because dates, storefront listings and campaigns have not been identical everywhere. Level Infinite handles the game globally, while Garena publishes it in Southeast Asia, South Korea, Latin America and Brazil. The two operations run separate portals and opened pre-registration at different times.
Region | Publisher | First pre-registration |
|---|---|---|
Global | Level Infinite | 26 August 2026 on the iOS and Android storefronts |
Southeast Asia | Garena | 24 July 2026 via web pre-registration |
South Korea | Garena | Regional release announced 24 July 2026 |
Latin America | Garena | Regional release announced 24 July 2026 |
Brazil | Garena | Regional release announced 24 July 2026 |
The two builds are listed separately on the iOS storefronts. In October 2026, the Garena build's iOS listing appeared in storefronts including South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico and Australia, while the global build's listing appeared in storefronts including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Japan.
As of October 2026, no device-level launch specification has been published, although the iOS storefront listings require iOS 15.0 or later. The only official hardware figures come from the third closed beta test, and the development team stated at the time that it was still optimising and still evaluating which devices to support. Treat these as test requirements, not launch requirements. Full test details are on the Closed Beta Tests page.

The game is free to play with in-app purchases, stated as such from the November 2024 announcement onward. The Android store listing carries a content rating of Teen for violence and blood, and notes user interaction and in-game purchases that include random items. An item called a Standard Contract appears in pre-registration reward tiers, and a rarity label of SR has been used once, for the Adventurer Raya.
The iOS storefront listings carried the following details in October 2026. These are pre-launch listing values and may change at launch.
