Monster Hunter Outlanders has a stated release window of 2026 and no announced release date. The official channel closed its August 2026 monster reveal with the line that the game is coming in 2026, and no first-party source has narrowed that further. Any specific day seen on a storefront listing should be treated as a placeholder, because the developer has said on its own social accounts that store dates are placeholders rather than commitments.
Platforms
The game is confirmed for iOS and Android only. No console, PC or cloud version has been announced. Both platforms have carried the same closed beta builds, and both have open pre-registration.
Platform | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
iOS | Confirmed, pre-registration open | All three closed beta tests were playable on iOS |
Android | Confirmed, pre-registration open | All three closed beta tests were playable on Android |
PC | Not announced | No first-party statement exists |
Console | Not announced | No first-party statement exists |
Regional Publishing
Publishing is split by region, which matters because dates, storefront listings and campaigns have not been identical everywhere. Level Infinite handles the game globally, while Garena publishes it across Southeast Asia. The two operations run separate portals and opened pre-registration at different times.
Region | Publisher | First pre-registration |
|---|---|---|
Global | Level Infinite | 26 August 2026 on the iOS and Android storefronts |
Southeast Asia | Garena | 24 July 2026 via web pre-registration |
Device Requirements
No launch specification has been published. The only official hardware figures come from the third closed beta test, and the development team stated at the time that it was still optimising and still evaluating which devices to support. Treat these as test requirements, not launch requirements. Full test details are on the Closed Beta Tests page.
Platform | Third closed beta requirement |
|---|---|
iOS | iPhone XR or above, running iOS 17 or above |
Android | Snapdragon 845 or above, running Android 12.0 or above |
Business Model
The game is free to play with in-app purchases, stated as such from the November 2024 announcement onward. The Android store listing carries a content rating of Teen for violence and blood, and notes user interaction and in-game purchases that include random items. An item called a Standard Contract appears in pre-registration reward tiers, and a rarity label of SR has been used once, for the Adventurer Raya.
Pre-Registration Milestones
The global pre-registration campaign is tied to follower counts across the official social accounts. Five tiers have been published, and the campaign summary states that clearing them awards twenty Standard Contracts and the SR Adventurer Raya in total, alongside other items.
Milestone | Reward |
|---|---|
2 million followers | 5 Standard Contracts |
5 million followers | 5 Standard Contracts and 5,000 Zenny |
10 million followers | The Adventurer Raya |
15 million followers | 5 Standard Contracts and 20 Growth Concentrate |
20 million followers | 5 Standard Contracts and 20 Aqua Dew |
