Sabretooth

Created a dedicated page for Sabretooth covering his Team X status, friction with Logan and combat assists
Sabretooth is a confirmed member of Team X in Marvel's Wolverine and the source of most of the group's internal friction. Hands-on previews describe him being addressed as Victor in dialogue.

PlayStation's own material now names Sabretooth and Mystique outright as Team X members, which is firmer than the earlier framing that only had them operating under Nathaniel Essex. That leaves three confirmed members, counting Logan himself.
Insomniac has said Sabretooth feels spurned by Logan's exit from the team three years before the game opens, and he spends the opening needling him for it. He calls Logan runt, and at one point body-slams him inside the Princess Bar. Previews describe the two constantly butting heads. Insomniac has also noted, with some relish, that Logan stands about as tall as Sabretooth's navel.
Allies are a tool the player directs rather than a second player slot, and Sabretooth is one of the ones who can be called in mid-fight. Marcus Smith has characterised his contribution, less flatteringly, as being like stealing your kills.
He also has the closest thing the game has shown to a signature pair manoeuvre. A hands-on session with the Sentinel Prototype fight describes a throw-based team move where Sabretooth hurls Logan bodily at a target instead of Logan closing the distance himself. Critical Strikes can be performed jointly with an ally as well. See Combat and Bosses.
Because the story is original rather than an adaptation, nothing from the character's comics history is treated as confirmed here. No shared origin, no family relationship and no history with Logan beyond the three-year team split has been stated in official game material.
