Lost Animon are extremely rare variants of regular Animon in LumenTale: Memories of Trey. According to the legends of Talea, they are creatures believed to be extinct, and researchers treat every sighting as a special and fortunate event. The developer confirmed that 76 Lost Animon can be encountered at launch.
A Lost Animon is not a simple recolor. Each one has an entirely redesigned appearance and its own distinct form, separate from its common counterpart, while still counting as the same species in your index. They fill the role that shiny or rare variants play in other creature collectors, but with bigger visual changes.

Explore and listen | Lost Animon spawn at very low rates in the overworld. Players report a sparkling sound nearby when one is close, so chase the sound when you hear it. |
Collect art cards | Gathering the art card for a species raises your chance of finding that specific Animon in the world, including its Lost variant. See Items and Currency for how cards work. |
Lost Bilia | Lost Bilia, bundled with the launch window bonuses, are tied to rarer encounters. See Monster Collecting for the Bilia types. |

An official showcase on June 9, 2026 presented the Lost forms of every starter line. All 20 Animon across the five Starter Animon lines, from each base starter through both branched final evolutions, have a Lost form. These are the documented Lost forms so far, out of the 76 confirmed to exist:
