Iris Hamlet

Iris Hamlet is the quiet settlement in the south of Talea where LumenTale: Memories of Trey begins. It sits in Mythos, next to the Scarlet Woods, and it serves as the home town for the opening stretch of the story.

Kapan's Laboratory

The hamlet is the base for Kapan's research lab. It is where Trey is brought after being found unconscious, where he wakes with no memory, and where he first learns what Animon and the Lumen are. Max is also introduced here during the early Tourist quest.

The Pymant Attack

Not long after Trey wakes, the hamlet is attacked by Pymant, a gargantuan Animon that tears through an undefended town and carries off Nada in the process. Pymant proves far tougher than anyone expects, and the town is only saved by Blanco stepping in.

The aftermath matters as much as the fight: the next day Blanco introduces himself properly as the founder of AARI, the organisation that studies Talea's history, backs Lumen across the region, and works to reconcile the two factions. See Characters.
