The Bilia is the throwable capture item at the centre of monster collecting in LumenTale: Memories of Trey. You load one into the Holoken and throw it at a wild Animon, which starts the quick-time capture sequence. Bilias are consumable, they come in a range of variants, and choosing the right one for the target is the single biggest lever you have over your catch rate.
The Holoken has two modes, and only one of them throws a Bilia. In Bilia Mode you aim freely, throw, and a QTE begins on a successful hit. Clearing the QTE catches the Animon. Missing it costs you the Bilia and enrages the target, which then chases you. Two things raise the odds before you ever throw: lowering the target's HP in battle, and stunning an enraged Animon by switching to Animon Mode and attacking it. QTE difficulty scales with the target's level, so a high-level catch is as much about preparation as it is about reflexes.
Bilias split into three groups. Standard Bilias are the general-purpose tiers, attribute Bilias favour a matching Animon Attribute, and specialist Bilias change the capture process itself or add a bonus on top of the catch.

There are three reliable supply lines, and it is worth using all of them rather than leaning on shops alone.
