Staying alive in Last Harbor means working the line between the safety of the sea and the dangers of the land. The undead hold the shore, but the shore holds the resources, so survivors are constantly drawn back to scavenge what they need.

Scavenging the Shore
Survivors venture ashore from their boat to gather resources, loot, and sustenance from the abandoned islands. These supplies feed every other system, from repairing and upgrading the vessel to preparing for the next expedition. Resources are scarce, which keeps survivors moving and brings them into contact, and sometimes conflict, with one another.
Crafting and Sustenance
The boat doubles as a workshop. Survivors craft gear and improve their capabilities aboard the vessel, and the world supports activities like fishing and cooking to keep a crew fed. Because time offshore is limited, managing supplies and knowing when to risk a trip to land are central skills.
What Is Confirmed
tinyBuild has confirmed crafting, scavenging, fishing, and resource management as core pillars, alongside the boat-as-base loop. The exact survival meters and crafting recipes have not been detailed, so this page avoids listing systems that have not been shown. See Combat and the Undead for the dangers that scavenging invites.
