Added Jixia Chapter 7 with statue trials, forged-spirit bosses, and Xingli's two-phase finale
Jixia Chapter 7: Battle of Return to Void is the next major story chapter after Jixia Chapter 6: When Stars Converge. Current Chinese walkthrough coverage identifies it as 今昔归虚之战. The route opens with the Return to Void Festival, moves into three separate statue trials in Dragon Banner Valley, then finishes with a forged-spirit boss gauntlet and Xingli's two-phase story fight during Dream Performance Anomaly.
New Companion Invitations, home tasks, and school-style side tasks unlock before the chapter begins.
The chapter includes several back-to-back fights and trial rooms, so it is worth restocking healing items and quick-upgrade materials before entering
Unlocking more waystones around the surrounding map is useful because the chapter bounces between festival dialogue, trial grounds, and boss arenas.
Start at the academy's Zhengming Hall route, then follow the party through the festival dialogue until the story sends everyone to Dragon Banner Valley.
At the valley, activate the three statue trials. The order does not matter for story progress.
The Swiftness Trial is a moving-platform dodge sequence built around four rounds of bullet patterns and timed dodges.
The Valor Trial is a multi-wave combat test with no boss, only escalating enemy groups.
The final statue uses a laser-column puzzle where the yellow beam must be aligned onto the central mechanism by pushing the columns into the correct positions.
Once all three trials are complete, activate the central mechanism and move into the festival's combat finale.
The first fight is Dragon Spear Forged Spirit, a straightforward spear-user with a very readable red-light sweep and a long telegraph on its thrust.
The second fight is a dual-boss set against Chaos Blade Forged Spirit and Law Forged Spirit.
The dual fight has a useful interaction: if the yellow carpet attack from the blade boss lands on the caster boss while it is charging, the caster is interrupted and both bosses enter a vulnerable state.
After the forged-spirit fights, the route pushes straight into Xingli, the chapter's final story boss.
Phase 1 is a mobile greatsword duel. Xingli can parry direct attacks, fire three phantom swords in a frontal red-light thrust, and create a triangle of delayed phantom blades that can stun on hit.
Around half health, the fight shifts into Phase 2, where Xingli fights alongside a giant companion and both of them begin sharing large telegraphed sword attacks.
Breaking the white bar under Xingli's health is the key response to the phase-two charge move, because failing to interrupt it leads to a full-arena follow-up attack.
The phase ends after repeated giant-sword sweeps, ground lines, and Xingli's returning sword combos are fully exhausted and the boss falls.
Chapter 7 is the cleanest launch-era example of how Honor of Kings: World mixes spectacle with mechanical variety. It starts with academy ceremony scenes, pivots into platforming and puzzle trials, then escalates through three boss encounters before closing the chapter on Xingli.
