Kite the adds with ranged skills, then burst Panjing during the windup of its double-arm smash. When its health drops under roughly a quarter, its arm cannons begin firing a spread of projectiles. Strafe at a 45-degree angle to the main body to avoid both the cannons and the sweep arc.5656Frenzied Scorched Fur (狂暴灼绒)5858A fast, fire-themed beast boss fought with Dongfang Yao as a combat ally. Its early moves are a mix of pouncing charges and sweeping tail attacks. When its health drops, it casts a shield around itself, and you need to break the shield bar completely before damage against its health bar resumes. While the shield is active, it adds a new breath attack: the boss jumps to one edge of the arena, rears up with its tail, and sprays fire from side to side. Dodge along the direction of the sweep rather than through it.6060It also gains a bounding charge that crosses the arena. Because Dongfang Yao stays in the fight as an AI ally throughout, the boss can switch targets, which gives the player short windows to heal or reposition. The first health bar relies on a fan weapon. The boss whips out a chain of ranged fan slashes that curve outward; run along the arc or chain perfect dodges to close the gap. After the fan combo it lines up a straight-line fire breath with long wind-up, which is easy to sidestep and leaves the boss open for a counter. Its jumping red-light kick is fast but short-range, so unless you can line up a perfect dodge, simply back off to avoid it. At roughly 50% health the camera pulls in and the boss enters a frenzy state, adding fire to every fan slash along with orbiting fan phantoms, an airborne fire spray, and a corner-to-corner pounce.6868Phase 2: Dark Yao Phantom (暗曜幻形). Control switches to Dongfang Yao, and the boss is now a shadow clone of Yao himself. The Dark Yao Phantom fight is a story-timer encounter.
