Dual-Client Launch Event (April 17, 2026)
April 18, 2026 at 04:40 PM
Initial version (2026-04-18)
The Dual-Client Launch Event is a server-wide login-reward bundle that Tencent distributed on April 17, 2026, the day the iOS and Android clients went live. Logging in during the event window unlocks the bundle for any account, independent of whether the account had played on PC before mobile launch or not. The bundle is quoted in official marketing as carrying a 648 yuan retail value, which aligns the gift with the top-tier in-game recharge bundle.
The event is documented in the April 13 announcement and the April 15 pre-download announcement, and was operationalised on April 17 when the servers opened cross-client.
Announcement: April 13, 2026.
Mobile pre-download: April 15, 2026 at 08:00 Beijing Time.
Event start: April 17, 2026 at 07:00 Beijing Time, coinciding with mobile server open.
Event end: published as part of the activity page rather than the announcement. Accounts that log in during the event window retain the items permanently.
The bundle is a claim-once-per-account package. All items land in the in-game inbox on the first login during the event window.
Wang Zhaojun - Ice Flower Crown (王昭君 - 冰雪之华): a Wang Zhaojun cosmetic outfit. Distribution is account-bound and the outfit is usable on both PC and mobile clients. See the Wang Zhaojun article for the associated Resonance.
Ten-pull pack (10 Forgotten Pacts / 10 忘形之契): ten Forgotten Pact tokens, which are the pull currency for the Heavenly Reward cosmetic banner. Delivered as ten tokens rather than as random cosmetic drops.
Rename card: a single-use consumable that lets the account change its display name. Useful for players who accepted a default or a system-filtered name during pre-registration.
Appearance Beads (幻颜珠, Huanyan Beads): the in-game currency used to re-run character-creation sliders after the single free reroll has been consumed. See the Character Customization Fees article for the normal earn and price structure.
Because the Wang Zhaojun Ice Flower Crown is now distributed for free, accounts that had previously purchased the skin outright receive an automatic 3,980 Jingpo refund to the in-game wallet. The refund is processed server-side and does not require a support ticket or a manual claim step.
Players who purchased any other Wang Zhaojun cosmetic, or the paid Battle Pass, or an unrelated bundle, are unaffected. Only the specific Ice Flower Crown entitlement triggers the refund path. Players who purchased the skin as part of a larger recharge package that returned other items are refunded the Jingpo portion only.
The Dual-Client Launch Event is documented in the Week One Report as part of the production team's response to launch-window criticism. The scale of the giveaway, and in particular the 3,980 Jingpo refund to existing skin purchasers, is one of the larger same-platform apology gestures for a Tencent live-service launch in 2025 or 2026. The same-gesture framing has been read in Chinese gaming commentary as both a goodwill payout and an implicit acknowledgement that the launch window did not meet the team's internal quality bar.
Mobile Launch: April 17, 2026 covers the full mobile launch logistics. Week One Report (April 17, 2026) captures the context that motivated this bundle. Jingpo (Premium Currency) documents the refund currency. Heavenly Reward Banner explains how the Forgotten Pact tokens are used.
