Mesmerith

Marked rarity, Trait and store details as beta-era community reports and corrected the Hell is Other People pendant description
Mesmerith (No. 003) is a 5-star Anima with the Hate Aspect and the Hothead Trait in beta-era community listings (HoYoverse publishes no rarity, Trait or compendium number for any Anima). Beta coverage places Mesmerith at the side of Parayaya, the 29th Novarch of Hate. As a Gold-tier creature, Mesmerith is one of the higher-rarity Anima in the game.

Community listings describe Mesmerith, under its reported Hothead Trait, as a crowd control specialist focused on displacement effects that disrupt enemy positioning during Auto-Chess Combat. Its Hate Aspect contributes to Hate synergies when paired with Taileep (a 4-star Hate/Explorer Anima) and other Hate-Aspect creatures.
Beta-era community coverage lists an Exclusive Principle for Parayaya named "Hell is Other People", which grants a Hate Pendant: each time the equipping Anima deals damage four times, it unleashes three little bats that attack three random opponents. As reported, the pendant goes to whichever Anima is chosen to equip it rather than to Mesmerith specifically. HoYoverse has not published this ability.
During the Nexus Bond Test, Mesmerith was one of several 5-star Anima sold in the store for 800 Aspect Gems upon reaching levels 18, 21, or 24. Test coverage also reported it in Kardia-limited gacha pools. In that build, duplicate copies of a 5-star Anima allowed evolution up to six times. Other 5-star Anima available at the same price point include Hamburgoof, Pomparrot, and Lumehart.
The official compendium describes Mesmerith this way: Mesmerith has a self-absorbed personality and loves wearing beautiful accessories. It fixates on those its Animaster despises, and that hatred is capable of destroying anything.
