Rockstar Games has not published an official voice cast for Grand Theft Auto VI. As of October 13, 2026, Rockstar Games has not published a cast list, and its own announcements do not credit any performer for a role in the game.
What Rockstar Has Stated
Rockstar has named the two playable protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, in its official character bios on the Grand Theft Auto VI landing page and Newswire posts accompanying Trailer 2. Rockstar has also published bios for the confirmed supporting cast: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Brian Heder, Raul Bautista, Bae-Luxe, and Roxy. These bios describe each character’s role in the story but do not identify the actor portraying the role.
The studio has historically published full credit lists after a game ships rather than during pre-release marketing.
Stephen Root
In an interview published on September 14, 2026, actor Stephen Root said he appears in Grand Theft Auto VI. Reports of the interview identify his character as Brian Heder, the Leonida Keys drug runner who employs Jason. Root said people had already recognized his voice in Rockstar's earlier marketing, which he suggested had given the secret away. This is the actor's own statement: Rockstar has not published a cast list or confirmed the casting itself. Apart from Root, the only performers publicly tied to specific roles are the musicians reported in October 2026 as radio station hosts (see below).
Radio Station Hosts (Reported)
On October 8, 2026 Rockstar previewed six of the game's radio stations and named their hosts by on-air name only, such as El Martillo and La Gata on Cocoteo FM and MW and Delta Dawne on Back Country Radio. The same day several musicians were reported as the performers behind those hosts, and two of them, Lana Del Rey and RaiNao, spoke publicly about their parts. Rockstar's own announcement does not identify the performers, so the table records reports rather than a published cast list, as of October 13, 2026.

Performance Capture
Rockstar uses full performance capture for principal characters, recording voice, facial performance, and body movement together on a motion-capture stage. The studio has used this approach on its prior open-world releases. The detailed facial animation visible in Trailer 2 is consistent with that production process, though Rockstar has not published a technical breakdown for Grand Theft Auto VI specifically.
