Ambrosia

Removed the unconfirmed lakeshore position and compass relationships; the map section now gives only Rockstar's heart-of-Leonida placement and the Trailer 2 road sign
Ambrosia is an industrial agricultural town in the center of Leonida. Rockstar's tagline for the region is "Keeping Leonida Sweet," and the subheading reads: "The battle for health and wealth of Leonida begins here." The official description continues: "In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme" and "The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else."
Ambrosia is one of six confirmed major regions in Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga National Park. It sits in Ambrosia County, which Rockstar's copy places in the heart of Leonida; its position relative to the other regions and to Lake Leonida has not been shown.
Ambrosia is a company town in the truest sense. One corporation controls the jobs. One gang controls everything else. Rockstar's description is specific about this power structure: Allied Crystal provides employment, and the Final Chapter MC fills in the gaps. There is no mention of any other significant employer or institution. The town exists because the refinery exists, and the refinery's workforce tolerates the biker gang because there is no alternative.

This dynamic is reflected in the local politics. Official screenshots show campaign yard signs for a mayoral candidate named Erin Henshaw. Allied Crystal's logo appears directly on Henshaw's campaign signage, confirming that the sugar company does not just employ the town's workers; it also backs its politicians. The line between corporate power and political power in Ambrosia has been erased.
Rockstar's phrase "whatever the cost" is doing significant work in the official description. It acknowledges that the "old school values" of Ambrosia come at a price. The question of who pays that price is the subtext of the entire region.
The Allied Crystal Sugar Refinery is the dominant industrial facility in Ambrosia and the economic backbone of the entire county. Official screenshots show a massive complex with industrial smokestacks, factory buildings, and globe-shaped structures that dominate the skyline. Smoke rises from the facility in multiple screenshots, and burning sugar cane fields are visible in the surrounding landscape.
Sugar cane burning is a real agricultural practice still used in South Florida. Before harvest, farmers burn the outer leaves of sugar cane fields to make the stalks easier to cut and process. The fires produce thick black smoke that drifts across surrounding communities. In real life, this practice has drawn significant public health criticism from residents near Lake Okeechobee, who report respiratory issues during burn season. Rockstar's inclusion of burning fields in their Ambrosia screenshots is a pointed reference to this controversy.
Allied Crystal also appears to have its own political operation. The company's logo on Erin Henshaw's campaign signs suggests Allied Crystal funds local elections to maintain favorable regulatory conditions. This mirrors real criticisms of U.S. Sugar's political influence in Florida, where the company has historically been one of the largest political donors in the state.
The Final Chapter MC is an outlaw motorcycle club that controls Ambrosia's underground economy. Rockstar's official description refers to them only as "the local biker gang" without naming them in the promotional text. The "Final Chapter MC" name comes from patches visible on member clothing in trailer footage and official screenshots. According to their patches, the club was established in 1982.
The Final Chapter MC has a confirmed clubhouse in Ambrosia. Their relationship with Allied Crystal defines the town: the refinery provides legal employment, and the MC provides the criminal infrastructure that fills every gap the company leaves open. This is not a hostile arrangement. The two powers coexist, with Allied Crystal controlling the legitimate economy and the Final Chapter MC controlling the illegitimate one.
No specific named members of the Final Chapter MC have been officially revealed by Rockstar. The gang's role, visual identity, and territory are confirmed, but individual characters within the club remain unknown.
Rockstar's Ultimate Edition copy names Lake Leonida as the home of the One-Eyed Willie's mod shop. The name suggests a counterpart to Lake Okeechobee, the largest freshwater lake in Florida, whose shore towns are the sugar towns Ambrosia is modelled on. Rockstar has not said that Ambrosia sits on the lake or shown the two together (checked September 29, 2026).

In real life, the communities surrounding Lake Okeechobee are defined by the sugar industry. Clewiston, Belle Glade, Pahokee, and Moore Haven all depend on sugar agriculture and the processing facilities that employ their residents. Lake Leonida and its surrounding towns follow the same pattern.
Ambrosia is flat. The terrain is inland Florida agricultural land: sugar cane fields stretching to the horizon, industrial processing facilities, and small-town infrastructure connecting them. The landscape is not picturesque in the way that the Leonida Keys or Mount Kalaga are. It is working land, shaped by industry rather than nature.
Official screenshots show wide-open agricultural terrain, industrial smokestacks against the sky, burning fields producing thick smoke, and small-town road infrastructure. American flags are visible on structures, strengthening the "American industry and old school values" theme. The overall aesthetic is rural, industrial, and flat, a sharp contrast to Vice City's vertical skyline and Grassrivers' flooded wilderness.
A monster truck is visible in a parking lot in one official screenshot, suggesting Ambrosia hosts motorsport or off-road vehicle culture. Possible runway or airstrip infrastructure is also visible in official media.

The name "Ambrosia" itself is a nod to sweetness. In Greek mythology, ambrosia was the food of the gods, associated with honey and immortality. Rockstar chose a name that reinforces the sugar theme while carrying mythological weight: this is a place that calls itself sweet but operates on exploitation.
The Allied Crystal refinery's architecture closely resembles the U.S. Sugar facility in Clewiston, and Belle Glade and other Lake Okeechobee communities have been identified as secondary inspirations. Rockstar appears to have blended characteristics from multiple towns in the region rather than recreating any single location exactly.
Rockstar's website places Ambrosia in the heart of Leonida, and Ambrosia is one of the destinations on road signs in the opening of Trailer 2. Beyond that, Rockstar has not shown where Ambrosia sits relative to the other regions or how it is reached.
