Supporting Characters
Rockstar Games published official character profiles for nine characters alongside Trailer 2 in May 2025. These profiles appeared on the official GTA VI website with written descriptions and taglines. Additional characters have been identified from trailer footage. The quotes below are taken directly from Rockstar's official website.
Brian Heder
"Looks like a Leonida beach bum. Moves like a great white shark."

Brian is a drug runner from what Rockstar calls "the golden age of smuggling in the Keys." He still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori. According to Rockstar's description, Brian has "been around long enough to let others do his dirty work." He is letting Jason live rent-free at one of his properties, so long as Jason helps with "local shakedowns, and stops by for Lori's sangria once in a while."
In Trailer 2, Brian delivers the line: "I hauled so much grass in that plane, I could make the state of Leonida levitate." He also warns Jason: "They got your name, address. They got everything." Brian operates out of the Leonida Keys and appears to be Jason's employer and mentor at the start of the story.
Lori Heder
Lori Heder is Brian's third wife. She does not have her own dedicated Rockstar character profile; she is referenced within Brian's description as his partner who works alongside him at the boat yard. In Trailer 2, she appears in scenes at what looks like their home in the Keys and is seen handling firearms, suggesting she is directly involved in the criminal side of their operation.
Cal Hampton
"What if everything on the internet was true?"
Cal is Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian's. According to Rockstar, Cal "feels safest hanging at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open." Rockstar describes him as being at "the low tide of America and happy there." His "casual paranoia loves company," but Jason "has bigger plans."
Cal functions as an eccentric conspiracy theorist in the story. In Trailer 2, he appears in several scenes with Jason, including hangouts at boat docks in the Keys. His monitoring of Coast Guard radio suggests he feeds Jason information about maritime activity.
Boobie Ike
"It's all about heart, the Jack of Hearts."
Boobie Ike is described by Rockstar as "a local Vice City legend, and acts like it." He is one of the few people to "transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio." The strip club is the Jack of Hearts, which appears prominently in both trailers.
Rockstar notes that Boobie is "all smiles until it's time to talk business." His primary investment, according to the official profile, is his partnership with Dre'Quan Priest on Only Raw Records. Together they run the label but "just need a hit."
Dre'Quan Priest
"Only Raw... Records."

Rockstar describes Dre'Quan as someone who "was always more of a hustler than a gangster. Even when he was dealing on the streets to make ends meet, breaking into music was the goal." He has signed Real Dimez to the Only Raw Records label and his "days of booking acts into Boobie's strip club might be numbered as he sets his sights on the Vice City scene."
Dre'Quan and Boobie Ike together run Only Raw Records, a recording label that connects several characters in the game's Vice City music and nightlife world. The label ties together the strip club business, the Real Dimez rap duo, and the broader entertainment industry satire running through the game.
Raul Bautista
"Experience counts."
Rockstar describes Raul as having "confidence, charm, and cunning." He is "a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards." His recklessness "raises the stakes with every score. Sooner or later, his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table."
In Trailer 2, Raul delivers the line: "Life is full of surprises, my friend. I think we'd all be wise to remember that." Given the game's story centers on Jason and Lucia getting drawn into escalating criminal schemes, Raul appears to be someone who pulls them into larger and riskier heists.
Bae-Luxe and Roxy (Real Dimez)
"Viral videos. Viral hooks."
Bae-Luxe and Roxy are the two halves of the hip-hop duo Real Dimez. According to Rockstar, they "have been friends since high school, girls with the savvy to turn their time shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence."
Their backstory involves an early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY that "took Real Dimez to new heights." Five years later, after "a whole lot of trouble," they are signed to Only Raw Records and "hoping lightning can strike twice." Their presence in the game ties together the social media culture, music industry, and street-level crime themes.
DWNPLY
DWNPLY is a local rapper mentioned by name in the official Real Dimez character description. He collaborated with Bae-Luxe and Roxy on an early hit single that elevated the duo's career. DWNPLY does not have a standalone character profile on the Rockstar website and appears only as a named reference within the Real Dimez entry. Whether DWNPLY appears as a physical character in the game or is only referenced in dialogue is not confirmed.
Phil
Phil appears in Trailer 2 during a brief in-game Ammu-Nation television commercial at approximately the 2:09 mark. He announces: "Come to Phil's Ammu-Nation today! We got more guns than the law allows!" while standing in front of the store and firing a weapon. The commercial plays The Arrows' "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" in the background.

Phil does not have an official Rockstar character profile. The character is widely believed to be a reimagining of Phil Cassidy, a recurring character from GTA III, Vice City, and Vice City Stories who ran a weapons business. However, the original Phil Cassidy lost his arm during Vice City's events in 1986 and would be significantly older by the time of GTA VI. Fan theories suggest this could be Phil's son, a soft reboot, or simply a new character who happens to share the name. Rockstar has not confirmed any connection.
Unnamed Corrupt Police Officer
Trailer 2 features a prominent middle-aged, bearded police officer shown conducting backroom deals and leading what appears to be a plainclothes tactical unit raiding a building. His squad includes a heavily tattooed officer and a bearded cop wearing a backwards white cap, suggesting an undercover or off-the-books operation.
His line in the trailer is: "Us cops, we gotta protect each other." Rockstar has not named this character, published a profile for him, or confirmed his role in the story. His screen time and dialogue strongly suggest he is a significant antagonist, drawing comparisons to Frank Tenpenny from GTA: San Andreas.

Only Raw Records
Only Raw Records is a recording label run by Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest. The label connects several characters: Boobie provides the infrastructure (his strip club and recording studio), Dre'Quan handles A&R and artist development, and Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy) are their signed act. The label is looking for its first major hit. Only Raw Records functions as a hub in the game's music industry storyline and is one of the clearest examples of how GTA VI's supporting cast is interconnected rather than existing in isolation.
