The Zoldaad Empire is a powerful military nation in Final Fantasy Resonance and the home of the Fire Crystal. Square Enix revealed it on August 24, 2026, alongside Mysidia, the other place named that day.
Zoldaad has mass-produced military airships and magitek weaponry in recent years. Rumour holds that it intends to use them to invade neighbouring countries. Official material keeps that as rumour rather than stating it as fact, and no invasion has been described as having happened.
Life under the empire is hard, domestic unrest mounts, and out of that unrest a rebel army has formed. Jake leads it. Official material calls the country's internal situation extremely unstable.
Three named characters are attached to Zoldaad, on opposite sides of it. Two of them also appear as Visions.
