NO LAW was announced at The Game Awards in December 2025. The publisher's fact sheet for the August 2026 showing gives it a release schedule of 2027, with no month or quarter attached. The Steam listing has since been updated to match and now displays 2027, while the PlayStation, Epic Games Store and Microsoft listings still show the date as to be announced. Wishlisting is available on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the PlayStation Store.

Xbox Play Anywhere

NO LAW has been confirmed to support Xbox Play Anywhere, which allows players who purchase on Xbox to also access the game on Windows PC.

PC Requirements

PC system requirements are published on one storefront and still missing from another. The Microsoft listing added a full minimum and recommended table on 3 September 2026, four days after the August show closed. The Steam page has not been updated to match: it confirms only that the game needs a 64-bit processor and operating system and DirectX 12, and lists every other field as to be determined. The figures below are the published Microsoft values, reproduced as written. Two quirks in them are worth noting rather than tidying away: the minimum graphics line is itself phrased as a recommendation, and the memory figure is identical in both columns. No storage figure has been published on either storefront.

Supported Languages

NO LAW supports ten languages. All ten have interface and subtitle support. English is the only language with full audio (voice-over); the other nine are text only. Japanese was added to the list during August 2026, after the store page had carried nine for months.

Gamescom 2026 Showing

NO LAW was part of the publisher's five-title lineup for Gamescom 2026, held in Cologne from 26 to 30 August 2026. A new gameplay trailer premiered during the show's opening night showcase on 25 August, and at the booth the game was represented by a themed visitor activity and by a hands-off demo the studio ran for press rather than by a playable build. As of 11 September 2026 no further public showing has been announced.

Publisher Release Target

Two first-party statements bear on the release window. The publisher's second-quarter 2026 results, published on 29 July 2026, describe five titles it was bringing to the August show as "targeting release by 2027" and name NO LAW among them, which is a portfolio-level goal rather than a date for this game. The fact sheet issued for the showing itself goes further, listing a release schedule of 2027 and answering the release question with "It is currently in development and planned for release in 2027".

No month, quarter or firm date has been committed to publicly, and the storefronts have only partly caught up. Steam now displays 2027. The PlayStation Store still answers that the release date is to be determined, and the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft listing both still carry to-be-announced placeholders. The game's own FAQ page has not been revised since the reveal and still answers the release question with "TBD".

Purchase Model

NO LAW is planned as a premium, one-off purchase. The developers have said they intend to launch it as a fully complete game, with no pay-to-win systems and no mechanics that push players toward spending more in order to finish the story. If optional extras are ever added, the studio has said they will be communicated clearly and will not affect a player's ability to complete the game.

A simultaneous launch across all announced platforms is the stated intention rather than a promise. The studio has said it means to release on PC and on both consoles at once, and that it is looking at ways to widen availability further without being able to commit to anything yet.

Storefronts

Age Ratings

The ratings assigned so far all place the game at the adult end of their scales. The Xbox listing now carries a full ESRB Mature 17+ classification with descriptors, though the game's own promotional site still displays a rating-pending badge alongside it. The publisher's own content notice describes frequent violence and gore, general mature content, some drug and alcohol use, and occasional nudity or sexual themes.

Separately from the board ratings, the PlayStation listing carries only the standard notice that online interactions are not rated.

Platform Features

The storefront listings confirm a set of platform capabilities well ahead of launch. All of them describe a single-player game with no online component.
