Olderion is the capital of the Olderion Federation in Final Fantasy Resonance, introduced by Square Enix on July 16, 2026. It is styled the Aquapolis, and it is blessed with abundant, crystalline waters.
The Wardens of the Waters
Olderion has long been safeguarded by a clan known as the Wardens of the Waters, who are also the longtime guardians of the Water Shrine. The city is kept safe by the prayers of the Maiden of Water, one of the Wardens, and by an esper known to locals as the God of Water. Nichol, the Federation's strategist, was brought up in a Warden family.
Before the Airships
Before the proliferation of airships, Olderion was a juggernaut in the shipbuilding industry and a thriving naval transport hub. That history sits directly opposite Dilmagia's, which grew on the technology that displaced it, and it lines up with the game's confirmed traversal, where ships carry travellers between continents before an airship becomes available.

A Minigame in the City
Olderion is the setting for one of the game's minigames. Square Enix showed it on August 31, 2026: a jump-rope contest in which each jump has to be timed to keep the run alive. Clearing minigames rewards items. The set is covered at Minigames.
