Nichol was brought up in a family of Wardens of the Waters, the clan that has guarded the Water Shrine for generations and safeguarded Olderion for just as long. That upbringing gives him a devotion to defending his homeland that far exceeds most. He is tactical and objective, and never loses sight of the bigger picture. Despite that, he is regularly roped into whatever Rain and the rest of the party have got themselves into.
