Mysidia is a city in Final Fantasy Resonance, styled the Magiapolis. Square Enix revealed it on August 24, 2026, on the same day as the Zoldaad Empire. It is a legendary city of mages, known in this world only through fairy tales.

A City Out of Fairy Tales

Nobody in the world can say whether Mysidia still stands. Some believe it fell to ruin long ago, while others claim it persists to this day, and official material records both beliefs without settling the question.

The Ice Crystal

Mysidia is described as an advanced magical civilization, and it is also said to play host to the Ice Crystal. With the Zoldaad Empire holding the Fire Crystal, these are the two crystal sites named so far beyond the Earth Shrine, where the story opens.

Sakura and Her Pupils

Sakura, one of the game's main characters, is a sage of Mysidia. Two of the Visions drawn from this game's cast are tied to her rather than to the city itself: Victoria, a black mage with deep ties to Sakura, and Ayaka, a frontier-born white mage Sakura took as her pupil.
