A save point does not restore the party by itself. Use a Tent there to refill HP and MP. Inns provide another place to rest for Gil, and some dungeon entrances have free healers marked with a bed icon.
During a battle
Cure and its upgrades restore HP using MP. First Aid provides a smaller heal without an MP cost. Potions restore HP, while Phoenix Downs revive fallen allies.
After a sweeping stagger, Leah's Healing Wind is an alternative to a damage Resonance when the party needs recovery. Keep an item available for emergencies in case your healer cannot act.
