Firion is one of the legacy Visions in Final Fantasy Resonance. Square Enix published his profile in official press material dated August 24, 2026, and the realm it names, Palamecia, identifies him as this game's FINAL FANTASY II representative. His reveal closed out the legacy roster: all sixteen numbered entries in the series now have a named Vision.
Square Enix introduces him as a young man who joins the rebel army, seeking to take down the emperor of Palamecia. That sentence is the whole of the background published for him here, and it describes his own realm rather than events in this game's world.
As a Vision, Firion excels at staggering enemies, and he does it with physical attacks carrying Wind, Lightning and Light. Three elements on a single physical attacker give the party answers against a wide band of enemy resistances, and the payoff sits in the Resonance Attacks system: staggering every enemy in one turn is what lets a Vision unleash one.
Detail | Value |
|---|---|
Series entry | FINAL FANTASY II |
Home realm named | Palamecia |
Elements | Wind, Lightning and Light |
Attack type | Physical |
Battle specialty | Staggering enemies, feeding the Stagger System loop |
Crystal source | Sanctums of Light erected around the world |

Vision crystals are obtained by visiting the Sanctums of Light erected around the world, so Firion is earned through exploration rather than purchase: no Vision in this game is sold as DLC. Abilities learned from him stay equippable while another Vision is active, within the cost limit described at Abilities and Mastery. For the full roster, see List of Visions.
