Overview

Yann is a resourceful and cunning member of the Greymanes in Crimson Desert. Known for his strategic thinking and diplomatic solutions, Yann brings a different set of skills to Kliff MacDuff's mercenary band. Where others rely on brute force, Yann prefers cunning approaches and carefully considered tactics.

Yann is voiced by Peter Bramhill, known for King Cailan in Dragon Age: Origins, Egil in Xenoblade Chronicles, and Thancred in Final Fantasy XIV.

Character Profile

Role in the Story

Yann is one of Kliff's core companions who was separated during the Black Bear ambush at Pailune. His reunion with Kliff is a significant story moment during the main campaign. Once reunited, Yann contributes to the Greymanes' rebuilding efforts through both combat and diplomatic means.

At the Greymane Camp, Yann can be assigned to companion dispatch missions where his strategic abilities are particularly effective. His diplomatic skills may also open quest paths and NPC interactions that would not be available through force alone.

Relationships

Yann's relationship with Kliff is built on mutual respect and complementary skills. While Kliff leads through personal combat prowess and determination, Yann supports with intelligence gathering and tactical planning. Together with Oongka and Naira, they form the core leadership group of the Greymanes.
