Whispering Brad is a hidden waterfall cave in the Hernand region. Its entrance is marked by a stone cairn near the base of the waterfall. The cave is named for the quiet, breathy sounds that the wind makes as it passes through the narrow gap between the rock face and the falling water. Inside, the cave opens into a small chamber with a single treasure chest.
Inside, you will find the Duskfang Leather Cloak, a versatile cloak that offers dual elemental resistances alongside two useful utility bonuses.

The Food Level Effect +1 bonus is particularly noteworthy. With this cloak equipped, cooked dishes function at one tier higher than their base recipe level. In practical terms, this means cheaper ingredients can produce food with the same benefits as more expensive recipes, reducing overall cooking costs while maintaining the same stat boosts. The Climb Speed +2% bonus also helps when scaling cliffs and vertical surfaces during exploration.
Locate the waterfall in the Hernand region with a stone cairn at its base. Use the Stab technique (RB + Y on controller, or Shift + Right Click on mouse and keyboard) to push through the waterfall and access the hidden cave behind it. The treasure chest is inside.
Throughout Pywel, many waterfalls conceal hidden caves behind their curtain of water. These secret locations are known as Waterside Caves. Players can discover them by completing large environmental puzzles, which reward a key item that reveals the locations of hidden places, usually waterfall caves around the map. A small stone cairn placed near the base of a waterfall is the telltale sign that a cave exists behind it.
To enter a waterfall cave, use the Stab technique (RB + Y on controller, or Shift + Right Click on mouse and keyboard) while facing the waterfall. Walking directly into the waterfall without using Stab will knock Kliff backward and deal damage. Once inside, loot the treasure chest to collect the cave's unique equipment reward.
The Food Level Effect +1 bonus stacks with other food-related effects, making this cloak a strong choice for players who rely on cooking for stat buffs.
Dual Lightning and Fire resistances at Lv. 1 provide broad elemental coverage without needing to swap cloaks for different enemy types.
The +2% Climb Speed bonus is small but noticeable when scaling tall cliffs or completing traversal challenges.
