Overview

The Tidebreaker Boots are an Ultimate-grade leather boots in Crimson Desert. They are equipped with an underwater propulsion device developed by Faust that activates automatically when the wearer enters water. The propulsion launches the player forward at extreme speed, making underwater traversal dramatically faster than normal swimming.

The boots are hidden behind a waterfall in Delesyia and are one of the most practical pieces of exploration gear in the game. They pair well with the Vaporwalker boots, which handle surface water, while the Tidebreaker Boots excel underwater.

How to Obtain

The Tidebreaker Boots are found in Delesyia. Travel to the area and look for a waterfall. The location is near a wooden track structure.

Use the Stab ability to dash through the waterfall from the front. Behind it, you will find a blocked stone wall. Use Force Palm to break through the wall. Inside the hidden cave, open the golden chest to obtain the Tidebreaker Boots.

Jet Propulsion Mechanic

While swimming, press the special ability button (dodge/roll button) to activate the jet propulsion boost. This launches the player forward through the water at extremely high speed, covering large distances in seconds. The propulsion device activates automatically upon entering water, but the burst requires a manual button press.

• Speed boost: The propulsion dramatically increases swim speed, allowing rapid traversal of rivers, lakes, and underwater caves.

• Stamina efficient: The jet boost covers huge distances without draining as much stamina as normal swimming would over the same distance.

• Works anywhere in water: Unlike the Vaporwalker (which only works in shallow water), the Tidebreaker Boots work in any body of water, including deep areas.

• Recovery use: If you accidentally fall into water during combat or exploration, these boots let you quickly escape to shore.

Refinement

The Tidebreaker Boots can be refined at a Blacksmith. Refinement increases both Attack and Defense stats. At +0, the boots provide 13 Attack and 4 Defense with Movement Speed Lv.1. Higher refinement levels scale these values further, making the boots viable for combat use alongside their traversal utility.
