Overview

The Swift Wolf is a temporary mount in Crimson Desert and the smallest, fastest wolf variant that players can ride. True to its name, the Swift Wolf prioritizes speed over raw strength. It is significantly weaker than the Large Wolf, Large White Wolf, and Gristle Wolf in terms of health and attack power, but its nimble movement makes it useful for quick getaways and short-distance travel.

Base Stats

At Level 1, the Swift Wolf has the following base stats:

With only 250 HP and 100 Stamina, the Swift Wolf is the most fragile wolf mount. Its 70 Attack is modest but still higher than many exotic mounts. The 20 Evade is low, so the wolf takes hits from enemies fairly often.

How to Obtain

Swift Wolves are found throughout Pywel in forested and rural areas. Like all predator mounts, the Swift Wolf must be beaten into submission before it can be ridden. Attack the wolf until it stops fighting back and a Ride prompt appears, then quickly press the button to mount it.

The Swift Wolf is the easiest wolf variant to subdue due to its low health. A few well-placed strikes are usually enough to trigger the mount prompt.

Combat and Riding

While mounted on a Swift Wolf, the rider can use their own weapons. The wolf itself does not have independent attack commands. Its value lies in mobility: getting the rider from point A to point B quickly.

Like all predator mounts, dismounting a Swift Wolf causes it to immediately become hostile again. There is no graceful exit; the moment you get off, the wolf turns on you.
