The Southern Court was liberated after defeating the New Moon Reaper. The judgment of the south can finally breathe again.
Check the faction quest board regularly, as available quests rotate over time.
Completing faction quests increases your reputation with the local faction, unlocking access to better vendors and rewards.
Southern Court is the liberation fight for the Lunar Judgment chain in Demeniss. The area sits along the road west of the city of Demeniss. The boss is the New Moon Reaperthe strongest of the three Lunar Reapersaligned with the new moon's darkness ordered by the Grand General.
Stack HP recovery cooking items before entering. The fight is long and punishing, not a burst DPS check.
Visit an anvil and grindstone before heading in to apply the short-duration buffs that refinement gives you.
The Reaper is defence-oriented and waits for openings before striking. Play patient. Trading blows is how you lose.
His charge-into-double-swing combo can be blocked or parried. A clean parry gives you the largest punish window in the fight.
Travel to the Southern Court on the road west of Demeniss city. An Abyss Nexus on the nearby road makes a clean fast-travel entry.
Approach the court. You can enter from the front or sneak over the rear wall; the back approach is the quieter option because there are no patrolling guards there.
Clear the initial court defenders down to the boss arena.
Engage the New Moon Reaper. Focus on parrying the double swing and punishing the post-charge recovery frames.
After the Reaper falls, complete the liberation tick on the court.
There are also Southern Court strongbox puzzles scattered nearby. Grab those after the liberation for extra loot ( publishes a dedicated Southern Court strongbox guide).
Defeating the New Moon Reaper is part of the path toward the Diverging Moon weapon line; keep any moon-shaped drops.
