Shadow Gloves are one of three rewards from the Bloodied Sanctum quest. This quest becomes available after completing the Legendary Animals quest chain for House Celeste in Hernand. The quest leads to a boss fight against Sizlek inside the Bloodied Sanctum, south of Hernand. Defeating Sizlek awards the Shadow Gloves alongside the Goldbranch Plate Crown and the Greedy Lightningblade.
The Shadow Gloves are useful for players who want to steal items without consequences. Activating the gloves grants a one-minute window during which all theft attempts succeed without alerting guards or NPCs.
