Root's End (Challenge)

Root's End is an Exploration Challenge in Crimson Desert. It is a Restoration-type challenge located in The Abyss, accessed via the Ethereal Pathway. Players must navigate platforming sections and solve battery puzzles to restore an ancient machine.

Challenge Details

How to Reach Root's End

After completing the Ethereal Pathway puzzle, cross the bridge and step onto the circular teleportation device at the far end. This warps you to Root's End.

How to Complete

1. Walk into the pavilion, crouch, and use Force Palm to break through the floor. Glide with the Flight skill to avoid the lasers in the hole below.

2. Cross the platforms to the furthest point and wait for a floating platform to carry you across to the main island.

3. Hop across three collapsing platforms, then jump and glide to the island with waterfalls.

4. Scale the walls and climb ledges to reach the upper section. Climb the stairs and step on the Abyss Nexus to complete the first objective.

5. Head to Root's End center. Use Axiom Force to move the batteries into position and Force Palm to slot them in. Perform a jumping Palm Strike on the gear to complete the puzzle.

6. Collect the Abyss Artifact to complete the challenge.

Notes

• Root's End has a plant-themed environment with waterfalls and organic architecture.

• The laser navigation section requires the Flight/gliding ability obtained from the Ethereal Pathway.

• This challenge cannot be attempted until the Ethereal Pathway is complete.
