Add 3-step walkthrough, Kuku Pot tip, palm reward notes
The Precipice of Truth is an Abyss puzzle in the Path of Providence area. Players must use Axiom Force to move Power Cores onto pedestals, free batteries, and place them in sockets to activate air streams and progress.
Found in the Path of Providence Abyss area, accessible after completing Root's End by crossing its Skybridge.
Axiom Force to grab and move Power Cores and batteries
Force Palm / Force Current to lock batteries into sockets
Flight to navigate activated air streams
Use Axiom Force to grab the Power Core. Move it to the pedestal ahead with the cube on top to unlock the first battery.
Relocate the unlocked battery to its socket and secure it with Force Palm or Force Current.
Ride the updraft to reach the next platform. Grab the floating Power Core to the right and place it on another pedestal to unlock the second battery.
Move this flat battery to the spotlight-marked wall socket and lock it in place.
Use Flight and the newly activated air stream to reach the next section of the puzzle.
Climb to retrieve the final Power Core and place it on the lower pedestal.
Move the resulting battery to an upper socket and lock it in.
Use the activated air streams to reach the giant wall button. Strike it with Force Palm to complete the puzzle.
Some players report that if you have a Kuku Pot from the Kilnden Workshop quest, you can seal cubes for easier transport between platforms.
Each successfully placed battery produces a visual and audio cue confirming it is locked. If you do not hear the cue, try using Force Current instead of Force Palm.
Diving Force Palm skill.
Unlocks the Skybridge to the next Abyss area.
The Precipice of Truth has three sequential laser-trap puzzles. Each step follows the same loop: disable a laser trap with Axiom Force, carry the freed power core to its device, lower the barrier, retrieve the square-panel battery, then plug the battery into its socket using Force Palm. The Kuku Pot is optional but useful for temporarily stashing power cells between steps.
At the first platform, disable the laser trap and pick up the freed core. Carry the core to the device located a short distance away. The barrier drops once the core is seated. Use Axiom Force to grab the exposed square-panel battery, then seal it into its socket with Force Palm to complete the first stage.
Glide up on a fan current to reach a small floating platform above. Disable the laser trap on that platform, pick up its core, and carry the core along a moving platform that travels upward to the next device. Drop the core in, the barrier lowers, retrieve the next square-panel battery with Axiom Force, and use Force Palm to plug it in. Stash any loose core in the Kuku Pot if it is available to keep your hands free.
Angle a glide up toward the third puzzle spot, then jump across to a small alcove holding the final laser trap. Deactivate it with Axiom Force. Move the power core down to its device at a lower point on the island, which drops the last barrier. Retrieve that battery as well. At this point, seal the remaining power core in the Kuku Pot. The creator of the walkthrough recommends keeping it for later crafting recipes.
Once all three batteries are placed, activate the final fan to power the last device. Ride the updraft, anchor with Axiom Force at the top, and use Force Palm on the restoration panel to restore the Precipice of Truth abyss.
Completing Precipice of Truth unlocks two skills at once: Diving Force Palm and Falling Palm. Roots of Truth is the next abyss island on the path, but it is outside the scope of this puzzle.
