The Mysterious Elixir is a Key Item in Crimson Desert. It is a potion with unknown ingredients that plays a role in the Man Trapped in a Mire quest during Chapter 2. The elixir appears to be connected to the theft of goat horns from a local rancher near Hernand. It cannot be sold or discarded.

The Mysterious Elixir is found during the Man Trapped in a Mire quest. To reach it, follow these steps:
Complete the Shadow Cast Over the River main quest to unlock the Where Misery Gathers quest.
Pick up the Horn Thief poster from the notice board in Hernand City to log the quest.
Travel to the marked farm location and speak with the Enraged Rancher, who complains about bandits stealing goat horns.
Go to the bandit hideout marked on the map and defeat the bandits gathered there.
Use the lantern (LB/L1 on controller, CTRL on keyboard) to examine the holograms of the thieves, then play the memory using the Visione headgear.
Pick up the Mysterious Elixir from one of the crates next to the white stone. If the crates were destroyed during combat, check the individual rubble items nearby.
Return the Mysterious Elixir to the Enraged Rancher to complete the quest. The rancher accepts the elixir as a compromise for the stolen goat horns.
Quest Rewards: 5x Cloth Pieces and +1 Hernandian Contribution.
The elixir's description strongly implies the bandits used the stolen goat horns as an ingredient to brew the potion.
If crates at the bandit hideout are smashed during the fight, the elixir can still be found among the rubble.

An enraged rancher near Hernand complains that a group of bandits has cut off the horns of his goat. Kliff offers to help and must track down the bandits. After defeating them at their location, Kliff uses a lantern to examine holograms of the bandits. He then uses the Visione headgear to replay the memory of the Horn Thieves.
The Mysterious Elixir is found in one of the crates next to a white stone at the bandit location. Picking it up adds it to the Key Items inventory.
Return the Mysterious Elixir to the rancher. Upon seeing it, he agrees to make a compromise regarding the stolen goat horns. Completing this step finishes the quest and rewards Kliff with 5x Cloth Pieces and one level of Hernandian Contribution.
The smell of the elixir suggests it is made from goat horns, linking it directly to the rancher's stolen property.
The elixir cannot be consumed by the player. It serves only as a quest delivery item.
