Mistwood Hunters is a Hostile faction based in Pailune. Poachers who tear through the Wayward Woods in pursuit of woodland spirits. With few people ever setting foot there, the Wayward Woods' Woodland Spirits became objects of curiosity. The Mistwood Hunters turn that curiosity into coin, hunting anything that moves and throwing the forest's order into chaos.

The Mistwood Hunters are Hostile poachers who tear through the Wayward Woods in pursuit of woodland spirits. Because the woods are rarely travelled by outsiders, their spirits became objects of curiosity and, in turn, a source of high-value trade. The Hunters turn that curiosity into coin by hunting anything that moves, which has thrown the order of the forest into chaos and forced the Longleaf Tribe to deal with the disruption as best they can.
The faction's huntmaster is Moren, the Mistwood Huntmaster, a two-stage boss with a noticeably harder second phase. He appears as the target of the Longleaf Tribe faction quest The Sport Hunter, and clearing the fight rewards Pailunese Contribution, the Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex Horn that unlocks the Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex mount, and an Abyss Artifact.

Groups at War or Hostile attack on sight and impose reputation penalties for entering their territory, which means the usual way to interact with this faction is through combat, bounty hunting, and the clear-the-stronghold style of faction quest. Reputation can still shift if the player completes specific story objectives that strike at the faction's leadership or disrupt their operations.
