Overview

The Misthorn Branhok is a ground mount in Crimson Desert that stands apart from other horses with its exceptionally high HP and attack power. At 720 base HP, it has the highest health pool of any horse in the game, surpassing even the legendary horses like Rokade (600 HP) and Camora (450 HP). Combined with 163 base Attack, the Misthorn Branhok is built for head-on combat rather than fast travel.

The trade-off for this raw power is clear: the Misthorn Branhok has extremely low mobility stats. Its Speed, Acceleration, Handling, and Jump Power all sit at 1, making it one of the slowest mounts available. It also has a relatively low Stamina pool of 100, which limits how long it can sustain sprinting or special maneuvers. This mount is best thought of as a combat platform rather than a travel companion.

• Encounter in the Wild: The Misthorn Branhok can be found in misty highland zones. Look for it in areas with heavy fog or mist effects, particularly in elevated terrain.

• Combat Approach: Given the creature's high HP and Attack, approaching one requires preparation. Weaken it through combat until it becomes exhausted, then mount it when the prompt appears.

Because the Misthorn Branhok does not have level progression or skill data listed in the mount database, it may function as a non-permanent or temporary mount similar to bears and other wild creatures. Players should be prepared for the possibility that dismounting may cause the Branhok to become hostile again.

Combat Usage

The Misthorn Branhok excels as a combat mount. Its 163 Attack means that mounted attacks deal far more damage than anything achievable on a standard horse. Use it for:

• Clearing Enemy Camps: Ride the Branhok into bandit camps or faction strongholds and use mounted attacks to deal heavy damage to clusters of enemies.

• Low Stamina: The 100 Stamina pool is less than half of what most standard horses offer at Level 1. Sprinting drains quickly, and you will need to manage your stamina carefully.

• No Skills: Unlike horse breeds that learn Dash, Sprint, Double Jump, and other mobility skills through leveling, the Misthorn Branhok has no known learnable skills.

• Possibly Temporary: Without level progression data, the Misthorn Branhok may be a temporary mount that cannot be registered at stables.

Tips

• Use the Misthorn Branhok for combat encounters, not for long-distance travel. Switch to a standard horse or legendary horse when you need to cover ground quickly.

• The Branhok's 720 HP pool makes it an excellent shield in dangerous areas. Even if you take significant damage, the mount can absorb hits that would incapacitate a standard horse.
