The Ibex is a Ground type mount in Crimson Desert. What makes the Ibex stand out from other exotic mounts is its full complement of learnable skills, a feature that most temporary mounts lack entirely. The Ibex comes equipped with multiple distinct skills available from Level 1, including Dash, Drift, Leap, Sit, Wait, and Instant Acceleration. This puts it in a different tier from creatures like bears or iguanas, which have no skill progression.
The Ibex is a mountain goat adapted to rocky, steep terrain. Its bounding gait and leaping ability allow it to handle slopes, hills, and obstacles that would slow down or stop most other mounts.
At Level 1, the Ibex has the following base stats:

The Ibex has lower Health and Stamina than many temporary mounts (300 and 250 respectively), but its 30 Attack is slightly higher than the standard 25. Its true value lies in the skill set rather than raw stats.
The Ibex has the following skills, all available from Level 1:

This skill set makes the Ibex one of the most mechanically complex temporary mounts. The Dash-Drift-Instant Acceleration combo allows skilled riders to maintain high speed through sharp turns, something that most mounts require slowing down for.
The standard Ibex should not be confused with the Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex, a legendary permanent mount added in Patch 1.01.00. The Alpine Ibex is a far more powerful version obtained through a multi-step quest chain, while the standard Ibex is a temporary mount found in the wild.
