HUD Explained

Initial version covering all HUD elements
The Crimson Desert HUD displays all of your vital combat and exploration information at a glance. Understanding each element helps you react faster during fights and avoid environmental hazards.
The red bar at the bottom center of the screen represents Kliff's total health. When it reaches zero, you die. Health can be restored with recovery items and increased permanently through Health upgrades in the Skill menu.
The yellow diamond in the center of the screen tracks your stamina. Stamina drains when sprinting, climbing, gliding, or performing heavy attacks. It regenerates passively when you stop those activities.
The green leaves on the left side of the HUD represent your Spirit gauge. Spirit is consumed by certain combat abilities and evasive maneuvers. It regenerates slowly over time and can be restored instantly through successful parries.
The yellow bar on the left tracks your experience. XP is earned exclusively from defeating enemies. When the bar fills completely, you receive an Abyss Artifact, which can be spent on skill points or equipment upgrades after reaching Level 4.
The food icon near the minimap shows your currently equipped recovery item. It displays the item type and remaining quantity so you can monitor your healing supplies during combat.
The minimap sits in the bottom-left corner and shows nearby points of interest, quest markers, and NPC locations. Surrounding the minimap is a temperature gauge that rises in hot regions and drops in cold areas like Pailune. When the gauge drops low, Kliff suffers stamina penalties: slower regeneration and higher consumption on every action.
The top-left corner displays your active quest objective. It updates automatically as you progress through quest steps and can be toggled or switched in the quest menu.
