Updated from an announced feature to the shipped Kuku Cooler containers from patch 1.04.00 and corrected the patch date
Food Storage is the cooking category of Crimson Desert's Specialized Storage System. It was announced in the Developer Roadmap: April to June 2026 and arrived in Patch 1.04.00 on April 23, 2026 as two placeable containers, the Kuku Cooler and the Enhanced Kuku Cooler, so that cooking materials stop competing with weapons, armor, and quest items for space in Private Storage.

Ingredients stored in either cooler can be used for cooking even when they are not in the player's inventory.
The Kuku Cooler is obtained through a quest; the Enhanced Kuku Cooler is crafted.
Both coolers are placed through housing mode.
Food Storage was announced in the April to June 2026 roadmap. It did not ship with patch 1.03.00 and arrived with patch 1.04.00 on April 23, 2026, alongside the other storage containers listed below.

The Specialized Storage System announced in the Developer Roadmap shipped with patch 1.04.00 on April 23, 2026 (its patch notes were revised on April 27). Five storage container types were added, with the food-focused containers as the direct answer to the cooking-ingredient overflow problem.

The two Kuku Cooler tiers are the dedicated food-storage solution. The 40-slot baseline is the entry-level option; the 330-slot Enhanced variant is the long-term endgame storage for players who maintain large stockpiles of cooked meals and buff foods. Both containers are placed in player housing alongside the other storage types.
