Expanded with full Unarmed Combat progression, character variation comparison table, Oongka differences, and Meteor Kick upgrade path
Flying Kick is an Unarmed Combat skill in the Stamina Skill Tree, available to Kliff and Damiane. While in the air, you launch yourself at an enemy and deliver powerful kicks. Kliff hits the enemy twice in rapid succession, while Damiane delivers a single powerful kick that sends the target flying backward.

Raise Unarmed Combat to Level 4 to unlock Flying Kick. Both Kliff and Damiane start with Unarmed Combat at Level 1 by default, so reaching Level 4 requires investing 3 Abyss Artifacts into the progression chain.
Both Kliff and Damiane follow the same Unarmed Combat skill tree:
Level | Skill | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Lv.1 | Sweep the enemy's legs to knock them down | |
Lv.2 | Grab and slam the enemy with a scissor hold | |
Lv.3 | Increases base unarmed strike damage | |
Lv.4 | Fly at an enemy in midair and kick them | |
Lv.5 | Precise diving kick from high altitude (10 Spirit) |
Note: Oongka's Unarmed Combat tree differs slightly. His Level 1 skill is Low Dropkick instead of Leg Sweep, and he does not have Flying Kick at Level 4.
Character | Animation | Tactical Use |
|---|---|---|
Launches at the enemy and kicks them twice in rapid succession | Higher total damage from two hits; better for burst damage | |
Launches at the enemy and kicks them away with one powerful strike | Knockback effect; repositions enemies and creates distance |
Flying Kick is a strong aerial initiation tool. Jump first, then activate the skill to close distance quickly. It bridges the gap between you and an enemy without needing to run across open ground, where you would be vulnerable to ranged attacks.
Since it costs nothing to use, Flying Kick is a reliable gap-closer in extended fights. Unlike many other aerial attacks, there is no Spirit or Stamina cost, so you can use it as often as you can get airborne.
Kliff's double-hit version deals more total damage, making it the better choice for raw DPS. Damiane's version excels at repositioning foes: kick an enemy away to separate them from a group or push them toward environmental hazards.
Flying Kick leads naturally into Meteor Kick at Unarmed Combat Level 5. If you enjoy aerial combat, investing one more Abyss Artifact after Flying Kick unlocks the pinnacle unarmed attack. Meteor Kick costs 10 Spirit but deals significantly more damage and can be further enhanced with Elemental Meteor Kick.
