Feathered Raptor

Fixed "Cat egory" split word artifact in table cells
The Feathered Raptor is a temporary mount found in the Crimson Desert region. These bipedal, bird-like creatures are ridden by hostile NPCs who patrol the desert areas. Players can obtain a Feathered Raptor by defeating the rider and mounting the creature before it flees.
Feathered Raptors are related to the permanent raptor mount variants (Sand Raptor, Frost Raptor, Delesyian Swift) but differ in that they cannot be permanently tamed or registered. They serve as quick, agile temporary rides suited for short bursts of speed across the desert terrain.
Feathered Raptors are obtained by removing their hostile NPC riders:
Travel to the Crimson Desert region, the arid southern biome.
Locate hostile NPCs riding Feathered Raptors along patrol routes.
Defeat the rider in combat. Use ranged attacks to minimize risk from the raptor's speed.
Once the rider is eliminated, the raptor will attempt to run away. Chase it down quickly and press the ride button to mount it.
Act fast after defeating the rider. Feathered Raptors are very quick and will escape if you hesitate.

The Feathered Raptor is a temporary version of the raptor mount family. For permanent raptor mounts with better stats and the ability to be summoned at will, see the Raptor Mount article, which covers the Sand Raptor, Frost Raptor, and Delesyian Swift variants.
Sprint immediately after defeating the rider. Feathered Raptors have excellent acceleration and will outrun you on foot if given a head start.
Consider using a horse to chase down the riderless raptor, then dismount and quickly switch mounts.
Feathered Raptors excel at covering ground quickly. Use them for rapid traversal across the open desert.
If you want a permanent raptor mount, pursue the Sand Raptor (wild taming in the Red Dunes) or other raptor variants through their respective quests.
