New article with all confirmed Epidote deposit locations
Epidote is a refinement material in Crimson Desert used at the Blacksmith to upgrade jewelry. It is a rarer gem that appears most frequently in Pailune's mountain regions, Delesyia, and the borderlands of the Crimson Desert. Epidote deposits are less common than Azurite, so knowing where to look saves time.
Epidote is mined from crystal deposits using a Pickaxe (purchased at the Provisioner's Shop in Hernand) or by using the Force Palm Attack.
The primary source of Epidote. The mountainous terrain of Pailune contains crystal deposits among the peaks and mountain paths. Expect to find Epidote while exploring the higher-elevation areas of this region.
Epidote deposits exist in central Delesyia, slightly west from the capital city. One confirmed location sits in a river area, making it accessible from the roads near town.
The border areas of the Crimson Desert region contain Epidote crystal deposits. These appear in the transitional terrain between the desert and neighboring regions.
Region | Specific Area | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Pailune | Mountain regions | Primary source; multiple deposits at high elevations |
Central, west of capital (river area) | Accessible from main roads near town | |
Crimson Desert | Borderlands | Transitional terrain between desert and neighboring regions |
Epidote is used exclusively for jewelry refinement at the Blacksmith through the Refining System. It covers higher-tier ring, necklace, and accessory upgrades.
Pailune is the go-to region for Epidote farming. If you need this gem, plan a trip to the mountain areas and mine every crystal deposit you find.
Epidote is rarer than Azurite or Garnet, so pick up every deposit you encounter rather than passing them by.
The Delesyia river area deposit is a quick grab if you are already visiting the capital for other business.
Crystal deposits in the Crimson Desert borderlands can be easy to miss because the terrain shifts between biomes. Look carefully along the transition zones.
